[05.07]TUTORIAL: HOW TO ORDER CUSTOMIZED EMPTY SOFT TUBE PACKAGING

Soft tube packaging is widely used in many industry, we mostly produce tube packaging for cosmetic cream products like facial wash, facial cream, hand cream, foundation, sunscreen cream,lipgloss etc., others like liquid format ( shampoo, Perfume, Serum oils ) are not suitable for tube packaging, but you can contact our sales if need others as well.

Tube capacity can customized into 3ml to 300ml, however, we don’t suggest the size to small or too big.

This is the most important thing to start, different material has different MOQ requirement:

• Wheat straw 2 layers tube MOQ : 10k units per design/size
• High quality 5 layers ( PBL ) PE tube MOQ : 10k units per design/size
• PCR plastic 5 layers tube MOQ : 10k units per design/size
• Aluminium-Plastic 5 layers ( ABL) tube MOQ: 20k units per design/size
• Aluminium tube MOQ: 20k units per design/size

Thirdly, you need to chose a kind of material from above listing according to your interests and requirements, you can send some tube sample picture to tell our sales what kind of material and finish you want to achieve, if you don’t know how to choice, you can contact us for support.

It’s a very flexible question, simply speaking, to achieve the volume that you request, we custom producing tube diameter and length accordingly. However, for one volume, there are many combinations, please refer to below standard volume/diameter/length suggestion table.

For example, if you need a 30ml soft tube, we can make a 22mm diameter * 104mm length tube or 25mm diameter * 89mm length tube or 30mm diameter * 70mm length tube, not to say we can custom increase or decrease the length according to your preference.

Regarding this question, here’s our suggestion:

• Method 1: You can look for a sample in local market or buy from web store which length width ratio you like the most, then measure the size and tell us.
• Method 2: You can choose one combination from our industry standard volume/diameter/length table accordingly, then make a cylindrical mock up to double check whether the size meets your requirement, slightly adjustments on the length is totally acceptable for us : )

You should decide what tube cap to use, Round screw Cap, Octagonal screw cap, Flip cap, Airless pump cap, Long nozzle screw cap etc., different tube diameter can match different caps.

After above 5 steps, you already “have” an empty unprinted tube, if you want to custom tube colors and printing, you need to find a designer to process designing of the color( Pantone colors ) , tube effect( glossy or matte tube) and printing method ( Offset printing, silkscreen printing or hot stamping)
